I know how to create a fax, but I'd like my users to be able to receive a fax directly to their extension. With FreePBX the line would take a second or two, to decide if it was incoming fax, then either accept the fax or ring the line if it wasn't a fax.

hfoster Active Member Jan 28, 2019 699 86 28 35 Aug 10, 2021 #4 You *might* be able to add this to your dialplans for DDI numbers to detect and transfer accordingly: mod_dptools: fax detect - FreeSWITCH - Confluence freeswitch.org Never tested it myself, and wouldn't even know where to find a fax machine to test it. We binned all of our years ago. Either way, it's not really how FusionPBX designed the fax server component. It's a standalone extension that listens and emails them out.
