forwarding the CID to external extension in ringgroup

Hi all,

I have some ringgroups with one of the members a external mobile phone. This works but when the mobile rings, it shows the number that is in the ringroup settings under Advanced > Outbound Caller ID Number.
This makes sense but is there a way to show the number from the person who calls?
 
What version of FusionPBX are you running? I'm on 5.5.7 and do not have the issue with the number not being forwarded to the cell phone from the inbound caller..
 
I didn't realize you were using FusionPBX. You posted in the FS PBX thread.
I didn't realize the post was in FS PBX. I was looking at new posts. We'll have to see what he has to say. I know caller-id works through the ring group with current FS PBX unless his carrier is disallowing it. So @jeroentjed will need to comment on his version of FS PBX as well.
 
Then do not update Fusion. It will break things badly. You can see the latest version of FS PBX when you open the dashboard, and the pop-up at the bottom shows up. The current version is 1.6.1.
 
Fusion is partially used in FS PBX. But make sure you don't update it. Only update FS PBX when needed.
@kenn10 confirmed it works in FS PBX for him as long as the carrier allows it.
