Hi
We are currently running FusionPBX 4.1 with Postgresql on a single server that was installed using the fusionpbx script last year.
We are thinking of doing several things:
- Upgrading to FusionPBX 4.2
- Separating the Postgresql into its own server
- Have a Postgresql cluster using BDR
Unfortunately we are not that familiar with Postgresql, we are more a MariaDB/MySQL guy.
We understand that FusionPBX can work with both Postgresql or MySQL. We have already got a MariaDB galera cluster going smoothly. So we are wondering whether we should start afresh and porting from Postgresql to MySQL, or just go ahead and build another Postgresql cluster. And the main question that I don't know is whether FusionPBX can work with Postgresql BDR unmodified or something special needs to be done.
Cheers
Jim
