Hi all

Had to spend some considerable time to get a Grandstream HT802 ata working with our alarm panel/alarm company. Caveat emptor using voip for a security panel may not be your best choice. Just saying. It took a while to comb through sites and test/learn but finally we nailed it and this config has been working for some time. Hopefully, the below settings help someone (or many). Note: this is on a fusionpbx/freeswitch implementation; HT802 grandstream; concord4 panel.

These settings I modified in the auto provision file:

Preferred DTMF method = In-audio
Inband DTMF Duration = 50ms and 50ms
Note for the above: seems the spec is 50ms send, 50ms wait. Default values were 100ms and 50ms and were not working.
Disable DTMF Negotiation = yes
Use First Matching Vocoder in 200OK SDP = Yes
Preferred Vocoder = set all to PCMU
Voice Frames per TX = 8
Gain = TX (leave as-is default) RX= +2db
Note for the above: the alarm company was getting the test and alarm signals correctly but the panel was not getting a successful receipt until I increased the RX gain.
Disable Line Echo Canceller (LEC = Yes
Disable Network Echo Suppressor = Yes
