Hi All,

I have few customers who are currently using a grandstream UCM(pbx), I would like to some how register the ucm on to fusionpbx.

My goal is to make inbound/ outbound calls on the ucm and other functions but use fusionpbx as the sip trunk to ucm.

I have creating an extention on fusionpbx and tired to register the ucm, but no luck.

Any help or advice is appreciated :)

Here are a few screen shots of an older UCM I have connected to our PBX. This doesn't cover the basic setup of either PBX but shows the related information assuming both PBX's are configured properly for normal use
On the Fusionpbx side, first create an extension. I usually use the primary DID for the system as the username. 10 or 11 digit is fine.

Log into the UCM and create a SIP trunk to the Fusionpbx domain for the customer.

On the Fusionpbx side, create a bridge statement for routing additional DID's via the extension created earlier
Goto Applications>Bridges and create a new one

Set the destination seen above to the following to match your system
Code:
sofia/internal/sip:$1${regex(${sofia_contact(3211112233@customer.domain.com)}|^[^@]+(.*)|%1)}
Change the "3211112233" to the extension number assigned earlier, and the "costomer.domain.com" to match your server.

Create your inbound destinations in Fusionpbx for DID's as needed.

Once created, you can double check the "inbound route" in fusionpbx for the DID assigned.

As shown, whatever is inside the captured numbers for destination_number regex, it will be sent to the UCM trunk with the same digits.

This particular setup uses full 11 digit phone number DID's presented to the UCM and strips off all but last 2 digits of DID and routes with a prefix to the corresponding extension or ring group number on the UCM.

Happy to help. The screens are probably a little different compared to the latest UI in the UCM, but should get ya close.
