How to Duplicate One FS PBX to Another but maintain separate Domain Names?

I want to copy one FS PBX system on a cloud VM to another FSPBX system on another Cloud VM. The domain names would need to remain different as would the IP's. Is there a guide describing how to accomplish this? I want all the default parameters from the old system moved to the new system, along with recordings, voicemail greetings, etc.

@kenn10 The easiest solution is to install the new system and then restore the database from the backup of the original machine.

You can also copy the files, such as recordings and voicemails, over ssh to the respective folders.

I absolutely agree but I have found no good documentation on how to restore that database. There is another thread in here where someone made a script to do the work but it did not work when I was trying to copy from Debian-12 to Debian-13. There simply isn't enough documentation on the internals for this. Other things like extracting a particular domain to move to a different server would also be good.

I'm assuming it isn't as easy as an untar of the backup files.

Well, I re-imaged my cloud VM, re-installed FS PBX, the followed the script on this thread: https://www.pbxforums.com/threads/backup-restore.8702/#post-35209

It worked and restored the original FS PBX configuration to the new host. I changed the domain name, rebooted, and all is OK so far.
