SOLVED how to force a gateway to use TCP instead of TLS

Hi there!

I've looked all over on a way to force a gateway to use TCP instead of TLS. I need it to test something to one of our providers so we can get an accurate packet capture. I've seen I can set the Register to UDP/TCP/TLS but that on incoming I need to do this on an outbound connection.

Any assist is greatly appreciated.

I tried to disable TLS in a new SIP profile and that didnt work so I am obviously missing something

The register setting is the same for outbound too, if you set it to tcp all your traffic out will be TCP.

Did you stop and start the gateway after you made the changes? You did not need to touch the SIP profiles.
