I may have brought this up before, but my memory and searching are horrible today.

We have DIDs that when called automatically forward to an outside number, with the DID being set as the CallerID. In the call logs, it only shows the call as an outbound call.
In the details could it be made to show the CallerID of the originating caller? Or maybe a separate call log entry for the inbound call and the forwarded outbound call.

On none forwarded calls it shows the CallerID in the top left corner, but on forwarded calls it shows the CallerID of the DID. I have dial plans set to make the outbound callerID on the forwarded call the DID number, which may be why it's doing this, but there's no log of the original incoming call, before it gets forwarded. I have to go into the system logs to see what the original CallerID was.

How are you forwarding to an outside number?
The best option is to forward it to the ring group external member. It should populate CDRs properly.

I have the numbers set to forward to the external number with a prefix, and have dial plans for each prefix, that sets the outbound CallerID as the DID, so the external number sees the DID, and knows what company's answering service message to speak.
In the system logs, it shows the original CallerID, but on the FSPBX Call History, it only shows the DID, and nothing about the original CallerID. It's not a big deal, but sometimes we have to verify who called, as the answering service miss hears it.
