Internal Billing / Inter dialing

Howdy, I've looked around but haven't been able to find an answer to this question.

We're using twilio as our SIP trunking service. Currently, we have each department as a sub account which then gets their own domain and gateway in fusion. While this is great for billing purposes (We have to charge certain departments as their own entities), it makes it so we can't dial between extensions.

I know about inter domain dialing, but that doesn't allow us to dial the extensions directly, based off what I have read. Also of note, there is no overlap in extensions between domains.

What would be the best way for me to segment billing based off departments but still allow for direct extension dialing and simplifying our FusionPBX environment?

You ever get home, start to unwind and realize you are totally over complicating things?

Yea thats me.

I can just setup the twilio gateways in Fusion all under one domain and handle all the billing on twilio's end.

Boy i feel dumb.
