Is v5.5 recommended for production, or should I still stick to the master branch?

I'm getting ready to spin up a production installation and wanted to get a sanity check on the current recommended version.

I know that in the past, the general advice for this project was often to just pull from the master branch. However, looking at the recent releases, I see version 5.5 is available.
Is v5.5 considered fully stable and recommended for production environments? Or is the latest master branch still considered the more stable and reliable option for live deployments right now?

I've been on version 5.5.x for several months without issue. You can run it on Debian 12 or Debian 13. Also, FreeSWITCH has been upgraded as well so check the forums to see if you need to upgrade it. On a fresh install, you'll get the new version.
