I created a Fax server and can receive a fax. When I try to send one (PDF or Word), I get the following error message emailed to me:

Couldn't proccess any of the attached files. The following file types are supported for sending over our fax-to-email services: .xlsx

How can I add PDF ?

Great. That helped. Thank you.
Now it seems to be stuck in "waiting" status. Is there somewhere I can look to see what is holding it up? Logs, etc.

I got that figured out. Making progress.

Now, when I receive faxes I can see them in the "Inbox" on the webpage, but they are not getting forwarded to the email addresses assigned. I know email works as I receive emails when I send faxes. Any suggestions?

Yes enter your email credentials under Default Settings -> Email. Fax service still uses the old email settings. We are changing it soon

If the webhook is being delivered to FS PBX, then you can check the main log file. Here is an article on how to do it. You may see some errors that will help us determine the issue.

Mailgun has its own logs so you can see what's happening on their end. in case the webhook doesn't make it to FS PBX.

Got it. Making progress. It looks like when I send a 10 digit number via the email to fax, it gets converted to "+1(10digit)"

What controls that conversion?

I am getting the following message in the log files:

[2025-11-20 19:38:17] production.ERROR: No outbound route found for fax to +13304243731 (domain: 86d03ed3-1d21-435c-96be-291a8714d9c4)
[2025-11-20 19:38:17] production.DEBUG: FaxSendService@send error : App\Services\FaxSendService::addToFaxQueue(): Argument #4 ($dial_string) must be of type string, null given, called in /var/www/fspbx/app/Services/FaxSendService.php on line 182 at /var/www/fspbx/app/Services/FaxSendService.php:195

This probably means you haven’t create a route with prefix 9999. By default it gets assigned to each fax number you create in the system.

You have two options. Either delete the prefix from fax server settings in the advanced tab. Or you can create a copy of your external route with prefix 9999
