Hi all

First post to the forum. I am presently evaluating FusionPBX v4.4 and so far its looking pretty good. I have one issue which I hope someone can give me some direction on in my outbound dialplan.

I am in New Zealand and have set my default_country code and areacode in Variables to 64 and 9 respectively.

Our country is split into different areas codes:

However when dialing a local number where X=is a 7 digit number (as I am in Auckland) dialing the number XXXXXXX fails dialing 09XXXXXXX fails but dialing 649XXXXXXX succeeds.

Likewise any other national number 04XXXXXXX, 06XXXXXXX, 07XXXXXXXX etc fails but works if I add 64[areacode]XXXXXXX

Is there a specific dial plan I need to use to cater for these numbers?

As my destination number is just ^\d{8}$

And my dial string is sofia/gateway/****hidden trunk name****/$1

Thanks

Found a solution not sure if its the best but I can dial any number local/national/international now using a wildcard ^(\d*)$ as my destination number
