Paging Tone

Hi Everyone.

I saw someone else ask this but there was never really a definitive answer so I am asking again for myself.

Is there a way when using the paging feature to play a tone before making the announcement?

I have a client who is a daycare and wants this tone to play before they begin speaking (as almost any school type setup)

Anyone?

The definitive answer is absolutely it can.
The problem is the documented way to do it is only in the paid member documentation.

There is also an optional app that offers scheduling although I haven't personally used it.

You may have misunderstood. I am trying to play a tone to get the attention of the receiving party.

Not scheduling a school bell...

You can do this by modifying the page dialplan but as ad5ou said this is explained in the paid member documentation
