We are researching the possibility building an alert system with FusionPBX to replace our current alert system. Basically, when we call an extension in FusionPBX, it needs to call 190 SIP speakers that we already have (already tested to be compatible with FusionPBX) and play a sound file. Something like school bells but triggered from calling an extension. Something like connect the extensions to a stream would be best so that there is no delay in the sound file playing throughout the building.
My question is, is it something easily done, is there a plugin to do something like that already, how would you guys go about doing something like this?
