Hi again,

How can I prevent certain extensions to make outside calls? Except for 112 (911) emergency calls of course.
I know I can set a rule in outbound routes that only certain extensions are allowed but is there an easier way?

Ok, I think this could be a great improvement for the future, to toggle a switch on witch outbound rules a extension is allowed to use. But I will do it like this for now. Thanks for letting me know.

Follow up question,
With the above solution my ringgroup can't ring an external extension. I tried adding the ringgroupnumber (9000) to the allowed extensions:

but that doesn't work. What can I do to solve this?

ps: I know it is set to false right now.

Pretty sure the ring group only applies to incoming calls, as it just sets what extension to call simultaneously. So, they won't apply when calling from the extension, as you're not actually calling from the ring group.

Sorry, now I understand I didn't realize the external extension was a member of the ring group. Is the user just set to forward calls to the external number?
Are the 300-303 users part of the ringgroup? May need to add that users extension to the list, so that extension is set to allow external calls.

Use tollallow as mentioned.
Create a new outbound route and add to toll and a string, let's say outbound.
Set order as 110.
I would then create a new extension. Add outbound to Toll allow.
Add the number as follow-me.
Add extension in first field.
Add number in second, lower timeout to 20 to avoid voicemail pickup on number side.
Add the extension to ring group.
Set in ring group to allow forwarding and follow-me.
This method does not involve fiddling about with outbound route.
Second outbound route would be 112.
Set is orfer as 100.
It will first check 100 then 110.
