Provisioning

Hi @pbxgeek , I'm currently testing FSPBX.
I have a quick question. I just set up a Yealink phone to check the provisioning.

Is it possible to configure the following:

SIP Server 1 → Server Host: fspbx.mydomain.com
and in
Account → Username: ExtensionNumber@tenant.fspbx.mydomain.com

Because when the phone was provisioned, the Account → Username field only included the extension number,
and SIP Server 1 was set to tenant.fspbx.mydomain.com.

With that configuration, the phone wouldn’t register.
After manually changing the settings as above, it worked without any issue.

Also, regarding the use of HA, would it be possible to set
fspbx-backup.mydomain.com as SIP Server 2?

@wouam31 It can be configured in the provisioning template for this particular model of Yealink (Advanced-> Provision templates). You also need to make sure your default settings have all the required settings filled in, such as

server_address_primary
server_address_secondary

These variables are used in the templates. If you modify any of these settings, it's best to remove the existing line from the phone and then add it again so the updated settings are saved in the line configuration.

Everyone provisions the phones differently. It's hard to have one template that works for all. If you need help, a remote session can be organized with support.
