If anyone has good understanding about best practices for Proxmox Host configurations, when running Debian/Fusionpbx VMs, please respond or DM for consultancy work.
Use KVM - and if single node only set cpu = host although I am not sure if I have really noticed a difference. Other than that, I have never had to do anything specific and it runs without any issues.

Thank you for the response.
Yeah, basic things like that we are comfortable with, but when working with nodes that have many PBX VMs running you need to alter certain things, such as CPU Pinning.
Those and at the Node level is where we wish to tweak as best as possible for performance.
it won't hurt I'm sure, we just haven't had to at all. Then again, we run a handful of VMs per node max, so there are always plenty of resources available.
