Hi all,

I need help to configure multiple outbound route for 11 digit number. Here is the scenario i have two gateway to connect outside 11 digit numbers dial by all extensions. My gateway 1 provide me 20 outbound channels and can't increase, so thats why i get another vendor gateway 2 to provide another 20 channels for outbound route. the issue is when anyone dial 11 digit numbers at all time only 1st gateway is been used even though i have limit the gateway to 20 simultaneous calls, after reach 20 calls the line shows busy dose not use 2nd gateway where i already have 20 channels. How do i configure my gateway once 1st gateway reach its limit call will route over 2nd gateway?

Hi Daz,

Thanks for your reply. Please find the attached image of my outbound route. If you find any mistake please guide me.

for your reference Gateway 1: GETCO-01 (which is my 1st gateway with 20 channels) Gateway 2: NTALK-02 (my 2nd Gateway with another 20 channels).

Surely, that hash rule is preventing this from working.

How about when you put the number of channels in the advanced settings of each gateway.

Actually, I'm looking at confluence and I'm not sure channels is a valid setting there anyway. If you remove the hash statement though, depending on the rejection reason code from the first gateway, it should go through anyway.

Hi Daz,

Just one more question dose fusionPBX support multiple routing on same destination condition other than failover gateway condition? as other softswitch dose. if yes how to configure that?

Many many thanks for helping me out.

Hi Daz,

I just found the solution on this this that should set on dialplan. I have successfully manage this by adding this line

hash outbound carrier1 20 bridge sofia/gateway/carrier1/${destination_number}

hash outbound carrier2 20 bridge sofia/gateway/carrier2/${destination_number}

many may thanks for your help.

Hi Saif,

What does that like? I am also facing an issue with my second gateway.

GW1 is routed via carrier modem IPVPN on SBC (no internet, plain voice)
GW2 is routed through my other ISP.

FYI. My router supports multi-WAN setup.

Any thought Daz?

Thanks.
