So had a Virtual machine crash during a windows update last week, and the phone system wouldn't come back.
I decided to just start fresh, and wiped windows 11 off the computer and loaded debian 12.
Once I was able to runt he restore script from this post, https://www.pbxforums.com/threads/backup-restore.8702/ everything seemed to work great, except emails, and sms text messaging.

I found the restore scripted did not restore the settings int he .env file. Just wanted to let others know that you should check this after doing a restore, or fresh install, and using a backup. I just opened the .env file and pasted all my email and sms settings to the new servers files.

I found that out myself as I tried to spin up a duplicate machine. I don't know if anyone has mentioned this to the OP @marc8lange that he needs to add or give an option to add the .env to the backup/restore process since the original thread is closed to comment.
