Hi All,
Having an issue with ring groups in 5.5.13. I'm sure there is something simple I'm missing but I can't put my finger on it.
(Screenshot 1 - Ringgroups.png and .txt for log) The call comes in fine and the ring group works as expected until the 30 second mark (even though it's set to 40sec), then both the caller and the yealink phones do a strange double-ring and then the ring group sequence starts again. After another 30 sec the call just drops, there is no exit action.
If I drop all the timeouts to 30sec (screenshot 2 - RingGroups.png) it generally does work (exit to IVR). Occasionally it seems to miss the exit action and does the double ring repeats the ring group and then drops the call.
Some Notes/Things I've tried:
- I specified an exit action key, and pressing that does invoke the exit action.
- The 197 destination in the group was only put there to see if I could force the call to be "answered" by it, it's presence makes no difference to the described behaviour and as the call never makes it to the 35 sec mark so it never gets invoked anyway)
- Setting all timeouts (and removing the 197 destination) to 40sec doesn't change the failure to progress to the exit action.
- Our sip trunk provider ring time is set to 60sec.
- If I call the ring group extension from an internal extension the flow works as intended, the issue only occurs when calling externally to our DID.
- The 3 internal extensions involved all have a call timeout of 45 sec.
There seems to be a hard limit on 30sec ring time, but I can't see why that would be the case. Hope this all makes sense! Any help is greatly appreciated i've tried to include as much info as possible but happy to provide whatever else you need.
