Hello All,
I set up a ring group with an extension and an outside number (cellphone). when a call is placed from an external cell phone, call toes to ivr, caller press 9 for the ring group. The destination cell phone receives a call but the caller id displayed is that of the caller id of tenant not the caller id of the original caller. Does anybody have any idea?

Have you configured the caller outbound number your original caller?

Thanks for your reply and suggestion.
I opened a ticket with my VoIP provider asking what caller id they sent on a call that came through the ring group. The provider suggested removing the Caller ID name. I know how to do that for an extension but how do you do that for a ring group?

try just using an extension that is forwarded to the cellphone instead of a ring group and see what happens. so press 9 on ivr go to extn that is forwarded to cell.
