Sara Phone

After reading another thred (browser-based-phones). Is it possible to get Sara Phone working with FSpbx? I first tried it on fusion 5.3 but it never worked correctly, I only need it for windows desktops, no cell phone app required.

The project is not maintained. It was written for older versions of both SIP and PHP. Without modifications and porting to new libraries, I doubt it will work very well. If the browser-based-phones project takes off, it will implement all required modifications.

Microsip is a good option for Windows. It's also cheap for branding.

@ou812 Checkout Siperb, its the finished freemium version of the original Browser-Phone WebRTC SIP phone. The free version should be more than enough as per your needs.

OMG @voipBull, how long has this been around? This is groundbreaking. I watch new softphone offerings all the time, and I've never heard of this one.

@pbxgeek I've been following it since its first public development release from little over a year ago. Its been very promising so far and the roadmap include things that I actually want to use with my softphone. I think both FS PBX and FusionPBX project (@markjcrane) should think about if building some native integration for Siperb makes sense, same as how both projects now have it for Ringotel.

Browser-Phone does look better on mobile, but if its not going to work as expected as-is without significant effort on my end I'd rather start from scratch.
