Setting From User in outbound gateway

Hello,
May I request a little help please.
My gateways are all connected by registration with a SIP Trunk provider. The usernames are not numeric.
Is there a way to set the from header in the outgoing invite to the Outbound Caller ID Number specified in the extension record rather that it defaulting to the username of the gateway record?
