At an installation, the SIP call was getting established, but the speech began after some delay.
We found the ping to also be slow.
Below were the network settings at the PBX server.

Subnet - 192.168.1.0/24
ip address- 192.168.1.118
gateway- 192.168.1.1
name server 8.8.8.8, 4.4.4.4

The problem got solved by just changing the LAN port on the SAME switch.

What is the real issue? And how can it be solved logically in field?

So you change a port on your switch and it fixes it? How is this even fusionpbx related?

It probably is related to some network settings.
But want to understand if similar issues are faced during installations and why they occur.

You're going to have to refer to your operating system's information for that, presumably Debian for the networking information.

If I had to make a guess, speed and duplex were not automatically detected, so defaulted to 10Mbps half duplex.

Thanks for your reply!
I'm using Ubuntu.
I'll check this configuration.

But will the configuration reset after power OFF and ON?
