Hi Guys,

i am having dificulty seeing how a wildcard letsencrypt cert works in fusionpbx, i can request and get the cert no problem at all but how do i then allocate that to each domain, and even if it does work for web traffic how does TLS work with it.

Sorry if dumb question but on the fusionpbx wiki it shows howto get a wildcard cert but thats about it, the bit underneath seems to explain the way i used to do it for a diferent cert er domain

Thanks
K

iconbugs, it just works if you create you domains like, pbx1.mydomain.com, pbx2.mydomain.com etc

That is of course if you have configured tls

Hi M8, thanks for reply, i did the standard install and then run letsencrypt and set as wildcard *. etc.com , the cert verified and then installed, at that point i tries to goto tenant1.etc.com (for example) and got an ssl error .. do i need to manually point nginx to the wildcard cert ?
