We have been using a FPBX/Asterisk as a poor mans SBC to supply SIP channels to our FPBX customers (we wrote our own code to do this) and feed SIP to our Fusion Hosted server. This requires 2 separate servers in the data center we rent space in. We are hoping that Fusion is able to support Trunk to Trunk transfer (SBC type function) so we can eliminate one server and put our efforts into 1 server with a back up. In other words, one server to support hosted customers and the same server to manage SIP Channels (SBC)

Am I barking up the wrong tree ? Any direction or input is welcome.

How about you simply register your other FusionPBX to an extension in your SBC FusionPBX? I do it for analog PBXs that have an IP interface.
