Understanding Contacts and Yealink Remote Phonebooks

Hello,
I am very happy with how well the Yealink Remote Phonebook works to view the extensions. I was wondering if we can populate the FusionPBX Contacts into one of the 3 Phonebooks available, and have them display on Yealink phones. It appears that this *might* be a possibility... but I'm a bit confused whether that is the case or not.

So far I've simply tried adding a contact with a number to Contacts, and checked on the phone to see if it appears in any of the 3 phonebooks. Nothing shows up.

It is indeed possible. I haven't done it personally but I know it will.

I believe the part you are missing is adding a user and/or group to the contact and possibly not enabling the options in default settings.

I've tried creating a user, assigning an extension to the user, assigning the contact to both the user group as well as the specific user... with no success I'm not sure if it is intended to work this way or not... maybe there is something we are missing!

It was not- but I just tried assigning the user to the extension and provisioning the phone. No change.
