Hi all.

I have fusionpbx install on Debian 9.
The freeswitch version is 1.6

I can't find a way to upgrade to 1.8, when adding 1.8 packages it looks like it is going to install 1.10

Code:
cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/freeswitch.list
deb http://files.freeswitch.org/repo/deb/freeswitch-1.8/ stretch main
deb-src http://files.freeswitch.org/repo/deb/freeswitch-1.8/ stretch main

But apt-cache results:

Code:
apt-cache policy freeswitch
freeswitch:
  Installed: 1.6.20~37~987c9b9-1~jessie+1
  Candidate: 1.10.2~release~13~f7bdd3845a~stretch-1~stretch+1
  Version table:
     1.10.2~release~13~f7bdd3845a~stretch-1~stretch+1 500
        500 http://files.freeswitch.org/repo/deb/freeswitch-1.8 stretch/main amd64 Packages
 *** 1.6.20~37~987c9b9-1~jessie+1 100
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

I found this post, but I can't find any solution.

Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance.

Because of this thread, it's not right anymore?
FusionPBX recommends Debian 9, but FS1.10 is not recommended on Debian 9. If it's not true, it will be great!

I tried to run the install script on a clean install of Ubuntu 18. The install completed and everything looks good except that freeswitch listen only to 2855-2856 tcp ports, nothing else, no errors anywhere.

I have a very simple setup, so I don't care to install a new system and import the extensions. So the recommendation for new system is Debian 10?

It is indeed, any ubuntu install will be untested except possibly by the community.
