Using Tailscale on a multi-domain FS PBX or FusionPBX

I've been experimenting with Tailscale to link a number of FreePBX systems in a more secure fashion. For FusionPBX and FS PBX I have an issue using Tailscale to allow remote telephone connection to any of the domains. By default, Tailscale creates an internal IP in the TailNet for the host system only. So I am asking if anyone has used it and figured out how to configure Tailscale to be able to access each domain on a host for extension registration.

As is usually the case, AI has not been a productive way to locate a solution.

Maybe aomeone did this and gives you a proper answer.
I haven't used the Toronto based Tailscale, but we do use Zerotier.
It assignes IP addresses, and once you join the network, you allow it per device.
Perhaps if you create a domain with the zerotier assigned IP, you could register to it.
Other way is normal trunking to extension and adding CIDR from the WAN IP of the PBX.
I'd reach out to FusionPBX (might require membership) or FS PBX (might require support charge) for better assistance if Tailscale or Zerotier don't work out.

Thanks. The answer appears to be to set up a local DNS entry and use something like dnsmasq on the PBX server. You have to come at FS PBX or FusionPBX by the domain name and the only way you can serve access to the different domains on the same IP address is local translation. I'm getting closer but not there yet.
