so what now? what is everyone using?Yeah, we weren't real happy to hear about that either. For testing/demo, it was great to use as a free option. But for live service we heavily recommend Groundwire or Acrobits softphone, because it's a one-time fee and provides push notifications. And that's invaluable for reliable inbound calls and SMS.
As far as free option, we usually point people to Zoiper--with the caveat that the free version doesn't do push notifications. To get that, it's a monthly subscription, separate from their phone service with us.

gswave is the Grandstream Wave client? So far I know it's well and alive... I 've it running on a client with +30 computers. Can you explain "gsware"... ??
the grandstream applications are confusing because the names. Grandstream Wave, GS Wave, GS Wave Lite. GS Wave Lite is no longer available. It has a gradient blue icon with a white "G" logo. https://www.grandstream.com/support/product-archive This is the application you can provision in fusion via GS Wave application's QR code. I do not think you can get their application Grandstream Wave/ Wave now available to work. If you do get it to work that would be nice to know.
