I had given up, because I read in the Yealink Forums that this feature is not possible with the Yealink T58a, but I decided to work on it on my own.

Ow, just noticed your reply, on how many places did you change?

Did you have early video while calling a single sip extension ?? And no early video on ring groups?
And after the change, you saw early video on ring groups as well?

hmm, tested it, changed all 5 of them that i could find in the script to false
there is indeed progress, but still not working for me

i see now indeed, when i setup ring group to entreprise, and only 1 member, then i see a webcam image
but when more members are part of the group, no early video anymore

when i change the strategy to simultanoues (same thread)
then if a ring group has 2 members, i see the call coming in on both phones, but one phone, aborts the call immediately, the other is ringing, but no video

so it doesnt work for me :-(

but there was progress

is that all you changed? only the script? what kind of ringgroup strategy do you have?

Thats interesting.
The only other thing I did was setting up the yealink phone side door phone settings

indeed
i am testing with my hikvision outdoor station => no succes
but also tested with linphone desktop to => linphone softphones on android => no succes
linphone desktop is able to send a static image as ealy media

strange :-(

what kind of ring group are you using? and how is your early vidoe being sended in the logs? as a 183 session ?
