My repeated tests have failed to get two callers on a parking spot using my config above. I am however, able to transfer on to an incoming call via the line button.I suspect this is what my users are experiencing.

For parking, i have posted extensively in my adventures. With snom the BLF type works best.

This is almost certainly a problem with the handset's configuration.

Where you able to tweak the config to avoid the situation?

Annoyingly this seems to have a race condition in the actual parking of the call. If two extensions park in to an empty slot they seem to be able to land them and customers talk to each other. I have no solution yet and am uncertain how atomic each dialplan stanza in freeswitch is

Yup, i am using them. However I am after the "inbuilt" ones like those provided by the "Contacts" application.

If youre running Debian KVM's, i would also recommend using the "cloud" linux kernel from backports (or actual buster). Google Cloud is KVM, so all its optimizations should be of benefit. https://packages.debian.org/stretch-backports/linux-image-cloud-amd64

Many of them are hardware dependent and YMMV. Saying that I do find that Proxmox is a bit thin on details like those above.
