forwarding calls to mobile number ends up in mobile voicemail

Have anyone come across an issue where after ring group setup simultaneous rings works 100% fine on ext 100 and 200. After set time the call needs to be forwarded to a mobile number but the call goes directly to the mobile numbers voicemail instead of the mobile ringing? Any help on this issue greatly appreciated.

Yes, many mobiles will use early media or in some cases answer the call immediately when the phone is having problems. The most robust solution is to use 'confirm' for mobile numbers in the ring group and ignore follows
