Hi All! I am quite new to VoIP and am doing this in a test lab so excuse my ignorance.

What I am trying to do is I have 2 different FreePBX installs and I have my FusionPBX install. We are using ancient Cisco 7940g's which are working with all three systems and can call their respected extensions and such. But we want to talk together. How can this be achieved? I've been reading about SIP Trunks and that seems the way to go, but I can't wrap my brain around it with some screenshots of older versions of FusionPBX. I did install and currently looking at dSIPRouter too if that may help me integrate the three a little easier. If there is any help you can give me or any questions or more information I can provide please let me know! Thanks in advance for your help.

Why do you need three servers? Wouldn't it be easier to combine all into one server? Then they can talk to each other

Yes, I agree. This is a lab and each PBX is a different group, so while in practice would make sense to be 1 server that's not in the cards. But, I appreciate the response.

It'd be very hard for you to configure them to talk to each other if they are all connected to different servers. It's not entirely impossible through a clever use of bridge statements, but it's not the best practice.
