ictVoIP Billing Now on FOSSBilling — Open-Source Billing Platform + Live Public Demo

Big update to share beyond the WHMCS beta: the ictVoIP Billing engine now runs on FOSSBilling — the free, open source billing platform — with a live public demo open today.

Try it: https://demobilling.ictvoip.ca Demo credentials for both the client area and admin panel are right on the landing page — no signup, no email gate.

What this is

The same billing and provisioning engine we run on WHMCS — tenant provisioning, extension management, CDR collection and rating, included-minutes packages, client self-service — ported to FOSSBilling 0.8.9. FOSSBilling itself is free and open source, so the billing platform underneath your VoIP billing no longer carries a WHMCS license fee.

It's a real integration, not a mockup: the demo is wired to live lab PBX infrastructure (FusionPBX + FS PBX), so what you click is what actually deploys.

What to look at in the demo

Client area (democlient login):
  • Self-service VoIP panel with per-extension cards
  • Call records (CDRs) with DID-to-DID history, durations, and rated calls
  • Call recordings, included-minutes usage, support tickets
Admin panel (demoadmin login):
  • ictVoIP Billing extension under Extensions
  • PBX server connections, tenant/extension provisioning, gateway and rate management
  • Order-to-PBX lifecycle: activate / suspend / unsuspend / terminate wired to real PBX APIs
  • Health Check dashboard
Note: financial operations and order-changing actions are read-only in the public demo — it's a shared environment. Everything else is fully clickable.

Supported PBX platforms
  • FusionPBX 5.3–5.5 — via our custom API endpoint suite (domains, extensions, gateways, CDRs, recordings, etc.)
  • FS PBX — REST API adapter covering the same flows
  • Multi-provider — one install can bill and manage tenants across mixed FusionPBX and FS PBX infrastructure
WHMCS edition status

Still fully active — the v1.5.0-beta.x series is in testing and this FOSSBilling edition is an additional platform, not a replacement. Same roadmap, both tracks.

Feedback welcome — especially from anyone running FusionPBX or FS PBX who's been put off by WHMCS licensing costs. Happy to answer questions here or via the site.

Cheers!
