New Feature: Voicemail Escalation

We’ve added a new Voicemail Escalation feature to FS PBX.

This feature helps make sure important voicemail messages get attention quickly. When a new voicemail is left in a mailbox, FS PBX can automatically call internal extensions and external phone numbers until someone accepts responsibility for the message.

Recipients can:

  • press 1 to hear the voicemail
  • press 2 to decline
  • press 3 to hear the caller ID
After listening to the message, they can choose whether to accept responsibility. Once someone accepts it, the escalation stops.

Voicemail Escalation supports:

  • internal and external recipients
  • priority-based escalation groups
  • retry count and delay settings
  • success and failure email notifications
  • voicemail attachment in completion emails
  • detailed logging for escalation activity

  • dispatch or shared team mailboxes
We also added new OpenAI voices for TTS, giving you more options when generating voicemail greetings and recordings.
