I'm having a couple issues configuring an Outbound Route and was hoping someone might be able to share a working configuration for the follow routes.

1. VOIP.ms International Route - I'm trying to make an outgoing call to the UK using VOIP.ms. The call fails as unavailable and when I look at the sip logs I'm getting a 403 Forbidden message from VOIP.ms. In a google ai search it is suggesting something maybe with the caller id. I have tried different caller id's and I even have a uk phone number from voip.ms that I've used but still getting the error. When I make a call to a US number on VOIP.ms it works fine. I do have the restriction removed for making international calls and have allowed the UK as a destination. I have an IncrediblePBX system running and am able to make the call out of that without issue so believe everything is configured correctly on VOIP.ms.

2. Anveo Retail Route - I have been trying to configure an outbound route using Anveo Retail but the calls always fail. I get a busy message in the call history and 486 Busy Here in the sip trace. I'm able to make incoming calls to the Anveo number but cannot make outgoing calls. Again a google ai search is saying probably something with the caller id as the caller id is going out as +1xxxxxxxxxx. Again I'm hoping someone has a working configuration that can point me to what I need to do to correct. I'm also able to make an outgoing call with my IncrediblePBX system.

One last question I have is regarding modifying an Outbound Route. When you create a route there is a place to put the Gateway and then Alternate Gateways. Once the route is created though I do not see a place to change the Gateway if you want to modify the primary gateway on the route. Do you need to create a new route with the gateway you want to use as the primary?

Reach out to support. We need logs to figure out what's happening. It should be easy to fix.

Quick question, though. Did you set up a caller ID for the extension you are calling from? Or at least the global one?

Thanks for the reply. I set up a caller ID from the extension making the call. I'll have to reach out to support in a couple weeks as I'm leaving for a vacation in a couple hours and will be out of the USA so don't want to start this before I leave.

I had the same issue when calling the UK using voipMS, I solved it with an outbound route with this dialing pattern.
