    Reading the manual for that device I think I'd be finding a refurbished Yealink setting it up for the user and telling them to get used to it, we only use one Grandstream now and its a WIFI "dect" phone, no base stations no repeaters nice and simple.

    Set it to pid caller ID should always display as what is set on the extension unless an outbound route overwrites it It all depends on what the provider is expecting.

    What handsets are you testing on? We use Yealinks for clients but our own handsets have their own feature codes (which we can edited on the phones webui) which can have unexpected interactions with Dialplan manager.
