Inbound Dial Plan for invalid numbers

Please ignore my last post. The anti-action did not actually work. Here is some things I tried between yesterday and today.. First analysis: I made a call using the dial plan below which is the dial plan that the call successfully reaches a valid number, for example XXX-XXX-2528. * Behavior...

Inbound Dial Plan for invalid numbers

Thanks @ad5ou That approach will be hard to implement. I got some improvement though with some troubleshooting. Instead of having multiple dial plans, I am trying the anti-action feature. I confirmed the anti-action worked. Why? Calling an existent number goes to voicemail. And If I delete...

Inbound Dial Plan for invalid numbers

Great to hear you again @ad5ou . Yes, Agreed that if inbound_calls is hit, no other dial plan will be hit. However, since the number that I dialed is not registered in Extensions (but still coming from SignalWire), shouldn't it go to the next dial plan and hit the Go_to_voicemail? Here is my...

Inbound Dial Plan for invalid numbers

Hi everyone, Hope you guys are doing great. I am trying to setup an inbound dial plan that can detect if the extension exists (on Extensions). And if not, to route the call to a voicemail system. That is for example in case an employee leaves the company. While the number still exists on the...

    Dial Plan "tutorial"

Thank you @ad5ou I am stuck with two dial plans. The two are inbound dialplans. One for invalid numbers and another which involves a callerid lookup for voicemail purpose. I will post it on the general help with the details.

    Dial Plan "tutorial"

Hi everyone, I've been learning freeswitch/fusionpbx. We have great documentation in terms of the system itself, as for example the dial plan details at fusionpbx website and also the default files at the GitHub repository. https://docs.fusionpbx.com/en/latest/dialplan/dialplan_details.html...

Voicemail email template - Caller ID name issue

@ad5ou Thank you! Yes that fixed. I had to combine both solutions you suggested. Only adjusting the sip profile was not enough. I also had to edit the dial plan per your recommendation. And Yes, I have submitted a request on FusionPBX so they can fix it. I have also included the link of this...

Voicemail email template - Caller ID name issue

Now I understand the issue. For some reason FusionPBX is using the caller ID Name from the phone (aastra) and not from Extensions (FusionPBX). At least for the Email Templates. Since I don't have a CallerIDname defined on the phone, my caller id name ends up being my caller id number as well...

Voicemail email template - Caller ID name issue

Hi Hi @ad5ou thanks for your time. It didn't work. Caller name still shows the number. Looks like my default dial plan was a little bit different than yours. Here is how it was: Here is how it is now: It is interesting the fact your suggestion is to change the recording dial plan section...

Voicemail email template - Caller ID name issue

@ad5ou Thanks for you reply. I haven't changed. The internal dialplan is default. Below is the effective caller ID name. It is set to Alan. Here I also add some info from CDR (effective_caller_id_name confirmed as Alan) origination_callee_id_name though is the number. Thanks, Alan

Voicemail email template - Caller ID name issue

Hi everyone, I was able to configure Voicemail to Email. The functionality works great, however, I am having issues with the Caller ID name that goes along with the email message. For some reason, the Caller Name (person who left the voicemail) shows as the Caller Number instead. See print...

    Inbound calls - multiple extensions

Hi everyone, It might be a simple question but I haven't found any straight answer online. Inbound calls work properly but I have only the option to land it to a single destination. Inbound calls are transferred via action > transfer > 2527 to extension 2527. What if I want to land it on...

    HTTP provisioning

@JamesBorne thanks again for the help. Tried but didn't work. The only thing different is that I have IP Address instead. Below, my logs: ==> error.log <== 2019/07/11 18:22:36 [error] 630#630: *5735 open() "/var/www/fusionpbx/http:/admin:555@192.168.100.5/app/provision/security.tuz" failed (2...

    HTTP provisioning

Hello everyone, I was able to provision my Aastra phones via HTTP. However, I had to disable the http username and password to get it working. The reason I had to do it is because Aastra phones don't have the field to insert the provisioning information (username and password). Aastra phones...

    SOLVED Inbound calls not working

Here is what I got back from SignalWire. It fixed. Thank you @JamesBorne Configure SIP-RELAY with multiple DIDs on the same endpoint. On Fusion PBX Accounts --> Gateways Click on advanced and add auto_to_user to Extension. Edit the dialplan and configure your SignalWire DID as below...

    SOLVED Inbound calls not working

@JamesBorne right. With my dial plan I can reach only one destination. I am still stuck on it. In fact the destination number coming from SignalWire is where the problem is (pbx1). Do you think it is a limitation from SignalWire? That way I guess I have to create multiple SIP Gateways. One for...
