Ended up going with voipbl and I have to say I am happy with the results so far.

Finally made the plunge and upgraded Freeswitch to the latest version and the oddities I was facing have completely cleared up.

Finally made the plunge and everything went smooth. Upgraded on the web side, did a apt upgrade and rebooted. The issues that I was having have cleared up as well with the update. I'm coming from FreePBX which wasn't nearly as simple to upgrade. Loving FusionPBX so far.

Is it safe to apt upgrade freeswitch or does the update built into fusionpbx take care of that? If not, what are the proper procedures to upgrade fusionpbx and all of the backend that makes fusionpbx function? I see on this link that it talks about updating the freeswitch script but doesn't...
